Nexify Labs LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Bound mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our App.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Account: Email, name, unique identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google.
• Profile: Display name, age range, flow type, onboarding responses.
• User content: Journal entries, closure letters, boundaries, mood check-ins, quiz responses, milestone descriptions.
• Communications: Messages sent through chat and AI features.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device type, OS version, identifiers.
• Usage data: features used, screen views, interactions, session duration.
• Aggregated analytics.

Photos and Media

We may request access to your photo library for milestones, "Things I Love," or panic customizations. Photos are processed and stored locally. We do not upload images to our servers; we store only local file paths.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Deliver personalized coaching and AI-powered insights
• Authenticate your account and manage subscriptions
• Service-related communications
• Usage analysis and product improvement
• Legal compliance and security

3. Third-Party Services

We work with service providers under data protection obligations:

• Supabase — Auth and database
• OpenAI — AI/LLM for chat and analysis (OpenAI Privacy)
• Apple & Google — OAuth authentication
• Axyle — Analytics

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.

4. Legal Basis (EEA/UK)

We process data based on: contract performance, legitimate interests (improvement, analytics, security), consent where required, and legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion at getnexifylabs@gmail.com. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate purposes.

6. Security

We use encryption, access controls, and row-level security. No transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the App at your own risk.

7. Your Rights

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, object, restrict, withdraw consent, and complain. Contact getnexifylabs@gmail.com to exercise them.

8. California Rights

California residents have CCPA/CPRA rights (know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, non-discrimination). We do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising. Contact getnexifylabs@gmail.com.

9. Children

Our app is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. Parents can contact us to request removal or ask questions.

10. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the US or elsewhere. We implement safeguards where required (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted in the App with an updated date. Continued use means acceptance.
